International driving regulations - seems to me you have to think on your feet. I thought you were being stopped for littering with that horrid ice cream cone. I can almost taste it in my mouth. That’s a real feat, since I lost my sense of taste over five years ago. You used great descriptive words.
I get this. so many cultural unspoken rules that are taken for granted that no one teaches the outsider. observation and paying attention is how we have been . like a child again. new transplants feel this and some never learn the rules. I wonder with the world and it's refugees or even kids with autism who don't infer. but need to be told. I wonnder how helpful our experience is at this time to bridge worlds.

That is like the greatest compliment I ever received. Thank you, thank you.

For a minute there I thought the police officer was going to berate you about littering. YAK!
If he had been nicer, I would have shared it with him.
LOLOLOL

Wrong kind of hooters. Not better, just different.

Sometime there are clashes, but sometimes, when we are lucky, our differences result in happy laughter.
Oh the lessons learned! Memorable as always. I honestly never thought of the hand signals in color.
